Buxom Customisable Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hello everyone! I have been wanting an eyeshadow palette that I can use everyday and contains all the colours that I want for so long. Whenever I wore eyeshadow, I’d always have to grab colours out of a few different palettes and it just wasn’t convenient at all. When I saw that Buxom was being released in the U.K. I was so excited and knew I had to give some of their products a go.

I looked through the ready made palettes but decided that I would choose some colours of my own and make my own perfect everyday palette.

You have to buy the palette and eyeshadow separately and when you buy the palette and 6 shadows, each cost £8.00 each but when you buy them together in the same transaction, it comes to £36.00 which I think is a bargain for 6 full size shadows at 1.4g each plus the palette.

The palette itself is beautiful. It’s a robust black plastic with a croc design on the front with the Buxom logo in gold print. To put the eyeshadow in, you slide out the drawer and click the shadows in. It’s a really sturdy design and the shadows are in there securely which is great if you want to use it while travelling. This was the only palette I took on holiday recently and it survived!

Onto the eye shadows. As I said, I wanted one palette that I can use everyday and not have to grab others. I only use minimal eyeshadow on a daily basis so the shades aren’t that adventurous!

Satin Seduction – this is a beautiful frosty champagne shade.

Champagne Buzz – similar to Satin Seduction but has more gold and pink in it.

Glitz Factor – this is a peachy gold colour that reflects more pink in certain lights.

Famous Flirt – I thought this was a matte but it’s more of a satin. It’s a very light peachy shade.

Lingerie Lover – this one is a matte mid purple with a hint of grey.

Gimme Gorgeous – lastly we have a mid toned matte neutral brown.

I have to say, I was really surprised with these shadows. They are highly pigmented, blend very easily and last a really long time on the eyes even without a primer. I have had zero fallout with the shades and have been using them everyday since I got them around two weeks ago.

Didn’t think I would say this but I actually prefer these over Urban Decay shadows which have been my favourite for well over ten years. I love the affordability, the shade variation and the quality of the shadows. I will definitely be buying more and building more palettes!

Have you tried this product? Let me know your thoughts! Take care and I’ll be back soon ❤
